I have always followed the unofficial rule of waiting until after Thanksgiving to begin our holiday decorating. 2020 is obviously a year of making exceptions however, and I am beginning to slowly bring out some of our Christmas things. Every year I add a few new items to our home, as my taste and style has transitioned from past Christmases. These items, above, are currently at the top of my wish list. A gift guide to myself I suppose! There is something so fun, yet traditional about each of these Chinoiserie inspired picks that makes me want to incorporate all of them into our home somehow.
The White Christmas Haynes sisters print is the one item above that I already own, and adore. It sits framed on my daughter’s dresser each holiday season and adds a fun, colorful touch to her bedroom. It is also one of our favorite Christmas movies to watch together. What little girl wouldn’t swoon over the amazing songs, dance scenes and costumes in this timeless classic?
I feel as though all of these items work together beautifully, and could easily be added to your holiday home, blending well with a variety of decor styles (traditional, maximalist, etc.).
I’ve linked all these items on my Like it to know it for those of you who share a similar, Chinoiserie inspired style. I do receive a small commission should you choose to purchase an item through my page (thank you!).
I wish all of you a happy and healthy holiday season!
xx,
Katie
