Maybe it’s because of the long icy winters we put up with with in exchange for a few quick, perfect months, but nothing compares to Summertime in New England. As a New Englander myself, here are some fun finds that really speak to me.

At the beach this weekend with friends and family, I realized that I am now at the age where I should probably be wearing a hat in the sun on a regular basis. Not only have I acquired a hundred or so new freckles in just the past few days, but I’m also hoping more skin protection will keep wrinkles, and scary skin cancer (which runs in my family) away. Either way, I am one hundred percent in the market for a new, fun beach hat. I found some adorable options, which I planned to share in a post dedicated solely to hats, but along the way, ended up finding WAY more than just cute hats, and so my original plan spiraled into this fun summer shopping guide instead. Everything is beachy and fun, but really speaks “New England” to me.
I am adding some of these to my wish list, and definitely adding a few to my cart as well. I’m really loving the Kennedy For President sweatshirt, which is so fun, and will carry over perfectly through fall since its an election year. I would love to scoop up the Banniere Boston Scarf and have it framed in gold bamboo and display it in one of my girls’ rooms (or mine). The Ginger Jar Topiary earrings, which could not be cuter, are already on sale, and an extra 25% off through tomorrow!
